Afra Tafri Creations Foundation exists to produce, present, and contextualise projects by artist Abhishek Thapar and other collaborators who share the vision.
The foundation was established to provide a legal and corporate structure to develop and distribute the work of Thapar and potential collaborators in the international performing arts scene.
How We Achieve Our Goals
Critically creating contemporary social and political art projects with a theatrical background, thematically focused on postcolonial epistemologies.
Afra Tafri Creations envisions a world in which hierarchies, power structures, and the order of the world are complicated, rearranged, and overturned.
She engages her collaborators and audiences in a critical dialogue about the glocal entanglements of neoliberalism and Western society in general. By shedding light on the cracks and shadows of Western society while creatively creating new perspectives, audiences are empowered to re-engage consciously and critically with the world.
